Synopsis
Hours after his release from prison, Jesus Quintana pairs up with fellow misfits Petey and Marie for a series of petty crimes and romantic encounters. Their spontaneous and carefree attitude leads them into unexpected situations, including making enemies with a gun-toting hairdresser, forcing them to constantly evade the law and their new nemesis while strengthening their bonds as an outsider family.

Directed by John Turturro, 'Jesus Rolls' is a comedic drama centered around a trio of misfits played by Turturro himself, Bobby Cannavale (Petey), and Audrey Tatou (Marie). Loosely based on the 1970s French film 'Goin' Down', this film explores themes of camaraderie, self-discovery, and the consequences of reckless behavior. Despite its comedic tone, it touches upon deeper issues such as societal rejection and the search for belonging.
