Synopsis
Irréversible begins with a brutal scene in a Paris tunnel where Alex is raped by a stranger named Le Tenia. Her boyfriend Marcus and ex-boyfriend Pierre set out to find her attacker, leading them to a club called 'The Rectum'. They encounter a trans woman named Tania, who misleads them about Le Tenia's location. Marcus severely beats up a man he believes is Le Tenia but is later revealed not to be him. The film then cuts back to the tunnel scene where Alex screams for help before being attacked.
