Synopsis
Iris Murdoch (Kate Winslet), an intellectually vibrant young academic teaching philosophy at Oxford, meets her fellow professor John Bayley (Hugh Bonneville). Their relationship evolves over time, with Iris' spirited personality contrasting with John's awkwardness. Résumé
Iris is a biographical drama based on the true story of renowned British writer and philosopher Iris Murdoch.
