Synopsis
In this variant of the Phantom of the Opera story, our protagonist is not a disfigured individual but an orphan raised by rats in the sewers beneath the Paris Opera. He develops an affinity for these creatures and becomes known as the Phantom. When anyone dares to harm his beloved rats, the Phantom invokes death upon them. The primary antagonist is the chief exterminator who invents a rat-catching machine, leading to conflict with the Phantom.
