Synopsis
Andrea, an Italian high school student, becomes infatuated with Giulia, an older woman he sees outside his classroom window. They begin a sexual relationship at her apartment while her leftist radical fiancé is jailed and on trial for political crimes. Andrea's father, a psychiatrist who had previously treated Giulia, discovers their affair and believes it to be a symptom of Giulia's madness. The intensity of their passion builds until Andrea's father confronts him about the affair, but Andrea remains defiant.

Il diavolo in corpo is a 1986 Italian film directed by Marco Bellocchio, based on the novel 'The Devil Inside' by Felisberto Hernández.
