Synopsis
Perry Krohn, a wealthy businessman and movie producer, nears his 60th birthday when he discovers he has less than a year to live due to inoperable lung cancer. He tries to juggle the needs of his dedicated wife, demanding mistress, and grown children while keeping his terminal diagnosis a secret from his dysfunctional family. His son, a has-been actor, struggles with his precocious daughter and drug-addled ex-wife while selling insurance policies to AIDS patients until he becomes attracted to one. Meanwhile, Perry's step-sister learns about her mother's murder and her father's subsequent suicide.
