Synopsis
In medieval France, young lawyer Richard Courtois leaves Paris for the simpler life in the country. However, he soon finds himself drawn into complex amorous and political intrigues. Meanwhile, he is tasked with defending an unusual client: a pig owned by the mysterious gypsy Samira. This pig has been arrested for the murder of a young boy. The details surrounding this crime are unclear, and it's up to Richard to navigate the dark comedic waters of French history and unravel the truth.

Résumé
Hour of the Pig is a unique blend of genres, set against the backdrop of medieval France. Directed by Leslie Megahey in 1993, the film follows young lawyer Richard Courtois as he leaves Paris for the countryside, only to become embroiled in a web of political and romantic intrigues.
