Synopsis
Hot Spot begins with Harry Madox, a drifter, arriving in a small Texas town. He finds work as a used car salesman for George Harshaw and takes up residence in a local hotel. Observing an opportunity during a fire, Harry plots to rob the nearby bank while it's unattended due to the emergency. Meanwhile, he becomes involved with Dolly Harshaw, George's wife, who both seduces him and later blackmails him into an affair after he becomes the prime suspect for the robbery. However, Harry grows fond of Gloria Harper, a dealership accountant being exploited by Frank Sutton. Determined to help Gloria, Harry confronts Sutton while trying to evade arrest himself.

Résumé
Directed by Dennis Hopper in 1990, Hot Spot is an erotic thriller and neo-noir film set in a small Texas town. The movie revolves around Harry Madox, a drifter who becomes embroiled in a bank robbery, a web of deceit with George Harshaw's wife Dolly, and ultimately, a quest to protect Gloria Harper from her exploitative boss Frank Sutton.
