Synopsis
In El Hierro, the most remote island of the Canary Archipelago, a murder has occurred. Candela, an experienced judge with a strong character, arrives to instruct the case as she takes up her position on the island where she feels like an outsider. The abrupt and changing landscape of the island is home to a close-knit community where secrets are hard to keep. Everyone believes Diaz, a shady local businessman, is the murderer, but Candela is determined to find the truth and prove Diaz's innocence if he is not guilty. As she investigates, she discovers that nothing on El Hierro is as easy or straightforward as it seems.

Résumé
Hierro (series), released in 2019, is a drama-thriller set on El Hierro, the most remote island of the Canary Archipelago. The series follows Candela, an experienced judge who arrives on the island to instruct a murder case but struggles to fit into its close-knit community and singular traditions. With its abrupt landscape and secrets hard to keep, El Hierro becomes as much a character in the series as any of its inhabitants. The murder investigation leads Candela down a complex path, challenging her perceptions of guilt and innocence.
