Synopsis
Micky O'Neill, owner of an ailing Liverpool nightclub 'Heartly's', is desperate to save both his business and his failing relationship with Nancy, the daughter of Cathleen Doyle, the woman singer Josef Locke left behind when he fled to Ireland decades ago to avoid tax issues and Chief Jim Abbott. To achieve this, Micky attempts the impossible by trying to persuade the infamous Josef Locke out of retirement for a once-in-a-lifetime show at his nightclub.

Résumé
Directed by Peter Chelsom in 1991, 'Hear My Song' is an engaging comedy film set around Liverpool's nightlife scene.
