Synopsis
Claude, a young man from Oklahoma, receives his draft notice and heads to New York City. Along the way, he befriends a group of hippies led by Berger. Claude falls in love with Sheila, a girl from a wealthy family who joins their commune. The group lives freely, engaging in skinny-dipping, free love, and anti-establishment activities. However, their idyllic lifestyle is disrupted when Claude must report for military service in the Vietnam War.
