Synopsis
In Tangier, Morocco, Dounia Abdallah, a Moroccan woman managing a construction site, decides to sell ancient artifacts found during excavation on the black market. Her goal is to raise enough money to leave Morocco with her son. She lives with Dimitri Barbarossa, a Franco-Serbian architect, in a relationship scandalous to their conservative community. The excavation reveals 4th-century Christian tombs adorned with ornate frescoes. However, Dounia's plan is disrupted when one of the construction workers disappears.

Résumé
Goodbye Morocco (2012) is a drama film directed by Nadir Moknèche, set in Tangier, Morocco. The story revolves around Dounia Abdallah, a single mother and site manager, who embarks on a risky venture to sell ancient artifacts for money to leave the country with her son. Living with Dimitri Barbarossa, her Serbian lover, they face disapproval from their conservative community. When construction workers uncover priceless Christian artifacts, Dounia sees an opportunity to change her life course but faces unexpected obstacles.
