Synopsis
Genuine Risk follows Joe 'Dude' Cabot (Peter Berg), an unlucky horseplayer who finds himself in dire financial straits due to his gambling debts. Desperate for money, he agrees to work as a collector for his friend's cold and vicious mobster boss, Harry Moffett (Terence Stamp). The job seems simple enough: retrieve debt payments from those who owe Moffett money. However, things quickly spiral out of control when Joe bungles one of his collections, leading him to go on the run with a briefcase full of cash and a target on his back.
