Synopsis
Fugly follows comedian Jesse Sanchez as he stages a dramatic suicide attempt during a New Year's party to gain attention for his comedy career. However, things go awry when he accidentally knocks himself unconscious and sinks into his bathtub. As he floats in the tub, Jesse reflects on his life, love, and quest for fame. After what seems like his final moment, Jesse emerges from the tub with a newfound perspective on life.
