Synopsis
In the distant future, the Galactic Empire faces its inevitable decline as predicted by mathematician Hari Seldon's 'psychohistory'. To preserve human knowledge and culture, Seldon creates two 'Foundations' at opposite ends of the galaxy to wait out the impending darkness and rebuild civilization.
