Synopsis
Fifteen-year-old Mia lives on an Essex estate with her mother Joanne and younger sister Tyler. She has been expelled from school and spends her days aimlessly until she meets Connor, her mother's new boyfriend who shows her attention and encourages her interest in dancing. Mia begins to form an uneasy friendship with Connor, much to the displeasure of Joanne. Mia becomes increasingly attached to Connor, leading to tension within the family. The film explores Mia's struggle with her identity, her relationship with her family, and her attraction towards Connor.
