Synopsis
In 'Eu Te Amo', Paulo, a wealthy Brazilian man, begins the film devastated after his wife Barbara leaves him for another man. In his drunken despair, he meets Maria in a bar. Initially pretending to be a prostitute, Maria is actually seeking male companionship after being emotionally neglected by her lesbian lover. Despite neither expressing love nor expecting it from each other, they embark on a sexual relationship to fill their emotional voids. Over time, however, Paulo and Maria begin to develop genuine feelings for one another.
