Synopsis
Lawyer Jeff Warren takes over a compensation case after the sudden death of his legal partner. During his investigation into the case involving Ellen Fielding, he becomes increasingly obsessed with her enigmatic nature. This obsession leads him to question his own values and view of himself as a winner. His attempts to uncover the truth behind complex intrigues lead him to be accused of murdering Ellen's husband, Harry. Even Jeff's longtime partner and friend, Alison, finds it difficult to believe in his innocence. As the situation spirals out of control, Jeff faces a moral dilemma that ultimately leads him into a graphic confrontation with unforeseen results.
