Synopsis
Dread follows three college students - Steven, Lauren, and Andrew - who embark on an experiment to document what others dread most. However, their project takes a sinister turn when they discover that one of them, Andrew, harbors a secret sadistic side. Posing as a researcher, he invites individuals to share their deepest fears in exchange for money, only to torture them according to those fears while holding his friends captive.

Directed by Anthony DiBlasi and released in 2009, Dread is a British horror-thriller film that explores primal fears and the terrifying potential within ordinary people. The story revolves around an experiment gone wrong, transforming from a psychological study into a brutal display of sadistic torture. Despite being based on a short story by Clive Barker, the movie's plot deviates significantly from its source material.
