Synopsis
Dr. Knock, a diabolically brilliant physician from Karlsruhe, takes over a rural doctor's practice in Bavaria with the goal of transforming it into a lucrative sanatorium. To achieve this, he employs ruthless tactics to attract patients and gain power and prestige among the local citizens. However, his plans are disrupted by mysterious blue letters without sender addresses that begin arriving at the practice.

Résumé
Doktor Knock is a 1997 German-Austrian television movie directed by Dominik Graf. The film is an adaptation of Jules Romains' play "Knock" and is set in rural Bavaria during the early 20th century. It explores themes of ambition, manipulation, and the lengths one might go to achieve power and success. Despite its comedic elements, the film also offers social commentary on the healthcare system and the exploitation of patients for personal gain.
