Synopsis

Résumé
Directed by Colleen Murphy and released in 2000, Desire is a Canadian-German film that combines drama, romance, and thriller genres. The story revolves around an older woman younger man relationship between Christine, a dedicated teacher, and Michael, a talented pianist who harbors a dark secret. As their affair deepens, so do the mysterious disappearances of young girls from Christine's school. The film explores themes of passion, obsession, and the danger that can lurk beneath seemingly ordinary exteriors.
