Synopsis
Dellamorte Dellamore follows Franco Dellamorte, the guardian of Buffalora's cemetery. In this small Italian town, corpses inexplicably rise from their graves and Dellamorte must destroy them to prevent further disturbance. The movie explores the duality between love and death, a theme that Dellamorte experiences firsthand. He seems indifferent to why this phenomenon occurs but becomes weary of his duties towards the end of the film, expressing his desire to leave Buffalora.

Dellamorte Dellamore is a 1994 Italian horror-comedy directed by Michele Soavi, based on the 'sclavian philosophy' from Tiziano Sclavi's comics featuring Dylan Dog, the detective of the nightmare. The film centers around the enigmatic duality between love and death, as experienced by its protagonist Franco Dellamorte. Despite being a comedy-horror, it explores themes of existential weariness and isolation.
