Synopsis
In Los Angeles, five women's lives intersect around the death of a young woman. The story unfolds in five chapters. In the first chapter, a woman trapped in caring for her domineering mother discovers a body and experiences liberation from this discovery. Simultaneously, the victim's sister believes the body to be hers after 15 years of being missing, finding closure. An older woman finds evidence in a storage unit and must decide how to handle it. The mother of the dead girl visits her daughter's last known residence and makes her own discoveries. Lastly, we flash back to the victim's final day before her death.
