Synopsis
Romulus, a mentally ill musician living in a cave in Central Park, New York City, discovers the frozen body of a young drifter named Joey in a nearby tree on Valentine's Day. Romulus believes Joey was murdered by David Leppenraub, an avant-garde photographer and friend of Joey's. The police, including Romulus' daughter, a city cop, dismiss his claims as delusions due to his eccentric behavior and mental state. Undeterred, Romulus becomes determined to prove Leppenraub's guilt and uncover the truth about Joey's death. He composes a new musical piece and uses it as an invitation to Leppenraub's farm, where he hopes to gather evidence and confront the photographer.
