Synopsis
Joe and Betty, a middle-aged couple running a fish market, take in a drifter named Nick who starts working at their store. Nick's presence stirs up unexpected feelings in both of them: he rekindles Joe's hope for the future and awakens Betty's sexual passions. The situation becomes tense when Nick begins an affair with Betty. Their son Danny returns home and notices the changes, causing further turmoil.
