Synopsis
Film archivist David begins suspecting his wife Alice of having an affair with one of her clients, Alex. His stress grows when he discovers through footage from work that a brutal murder took place in their house in 1902. David starts experiencing disturbing visions and believes a supernatural presence is haunting him. He follows Alice to a canal where he confirms her infidelity but also finds evidence supporting his belief in the spectral entity. When Alice goes missing, David becomes the primary suspect in her disappearance. As police pressure mounts against him, David struggles to prove his innocence and convince them that something otherworldly may be responsible.

Résumé
Canal is a psychological horror-thriller directed by Ivan Kavanagh, released in 2014.
