Histoire
A powerful entrepreneur, Mouros (Joaquim de Almeida), hires Maria (Soraia Chaves), a high-class call girl, to seduce Mayor Meireles (Nicolau Breyner) of Vilanova. Mouros aims to blackmail the mayor into approving the construction of an exclusive resort hotel on protected land. Maria successfully ensnares Meireles, but detectives Madeira (Ivo Canelas) and Neves (José Raposo) from the PJ police force uncover evidence of corruption and begin investigating. Madeira's investigation becomes complicated when he discovers that Maria is the woman he has been secretly in love with for years.
