Synopsis
In the lakeside town of Mountview, California, an experiment gone wrong leads to an infestation of giant, lethal cockroaches that reproduce rapidly and grow up to ten feet long. The mayor initially tries to hide the problem but eventually enlists the help of eccentric pest exterminator General George S. Merlin after several locals are killed. Meanwhile, there's speculation that the sheriff might be involved in using these mutated insects for his own land-grab scheme.
