Synopsis
Bubù, discontent with his job at a bakery, convinces his girlfriend to engage in prostitution to ensure a better life for them both. He lives off her earnings while they immerse themselves in the underworld of sex work and crime. However, their relationship is strained by Bubù's lack of perspective and the constant threat of venereal disease, leading to conflicts between them.

Résumé
Bubù (1971), directed by Mauro Bolognini, explores the seedy underbelly of Rome through the eyes of its titular character. The film follows Bubù as he forces his girlfriend into prostitution for financial gain, ultimately leading them down a path of moral decay and turmoil within their relationship.
