Histoire
Environmental Protection Agency inspector Steve Malone travels to a remote military base with his family. His teenage daughter Marti befriends Jean Platt, the daughter of the base's commander. Soon after their arrival, people at the base begin acting strangely, appearing emotionless and distant. Marti becomes convinced that they are being replaced by plant-like aliens who take over their bodies while they sleep. She tries to convince her father but struggles as more people become affected. In another version, a soldier warns Marti not to sleep before she enters the base.
Résumé
Body Snatchers (1993) is an American science fiction horror film directed by Abel Ferrara. It is a remake of the classic 1956 film Invasion of the Body Snatchers based on Jack Finney's novel of the same name. The movie follows Marti Malone, who discovers that alien entities are invading and replacing people at a remote military base where she and her family have traveled for holiday. The film explores themes of distrust, paranoia, and the loss of humanity as those infected become emotionless doppelgängers. Unlike the original, this remake focuses on a younger protagonist in Marti Malone.
