Synopsis
Mike Taylor, once a famous rockstar turned middle-aged music composer, finds himself drawn into a seductive relationship with Matty McPherson, a young and talented vocalist hired to demo songs for his new album. Matty's beauty and musical prowess inspire Mike creatively but also rekindle his past temptations of sex, drugs, and alcohol. Despite being married to Joyce, Mike becomes smitten with Matty, who manipulates him into believing she is essential for his creative success. As weeks pass, Mike struggles with guilt and tries to resist Matty's advances, but she continually lures him back with new songs and promises of debauchery. When Mike's friends urge him to seek police help against Matty's stalking behavior, she convinces the authorities that she is pregnant with his child. In retaliation for Mike trying to escape her influence, Matty kidnaps Joyce and forces Mike into an ultimatum: save Joyce or continue his destructive relationship with Matty. The film concludes with Mike facing this crucial decision.
