Despite living in the same town for ten years, Phil and Shelly haven't spoken since she left him. When Shelly discovers her cancer is terminal, she decides to enter the championship as a final hurrah. Meanwhile, reigning champion Ray Roberts arrives with his daughter Christina, who shares a history with Brian. As tensions rise between the competitors, Brian decides to enter the competition alongside his mother and Sandra. The stage is set for rivalry, drama, and possibly redemption.
