Synopsis

Shandurai, an African woman exiled in Italy, seeks help from Mr. Kinsky, a reclusive British pianist and composer, to free her imprisoned husband. Kinsky, initially awkward but well-intentioned, falls in love with Shandurai and tries to win her affection through gifts and declarations of love. Shandurai finds his advances insulting given her predicament but gradually realizes he is genuinely trying to help her. Résumé
