Synopsis
Beau Is Afraid follows the titular character, Beau, after the sudden death of his mother. Suffering from severe anxiety and paranoia, Beau lives alone in a downtown apartment where every moment is a waking nightmare. His therapist prepares him for a journey back home to attend his mother's funeral. However, on the eve of his departure, chaos ensues, spiraling Beau into an epic, Kafkaesque odyssey.
