Synopsis
In the distant future, the legendary Arena on a space station hosts an intergalactic fighting competition where champions from various worlds compete for the championship. For over half a century, no Earthling has been good enough to participate until Steve Armstrong enters the contest as the first human hopeful in years. Trained all his life for this opportunity, Steve faces formidable opponents and must battle not only against them but also against the corrupt system controlled by a ruthless extraterrestrial crimelord who intends to stop him at any cost.

Résumé
'Arena' (1989) is a futuristic sci-fi action film directed by Peter Manoogian. Set far in the future on a distant space station, the movie revolves around an intergalactic fighting competition where champions from different planets vie for the championship. The plot focuses on Steve Armstrong, the first human contestant in years, who faces seemingly insurmountable odds and must challenge both his opponents and the corrupt system that controls the competition.
