Synopsis
François Taillandier meets an enigmatic woman named Chiara on a train who invites him to spend the weekend with her in Nice. The next morning, she disappears and François is interrogated by police as he is mistaken for Anthony Zimmer, a notorious criminal wanted for money laundering. Despite being deceived, François becomes determined to find Chiara again. Meanwhile, both French police and Russian mafia are pursuing the real Anthony Zimmer through his connection with Chiara, leading to a cat-and-mouse chase involving François, who bears a resemblance to Zimmer. The truth about Chiara's motives begins to unfold as François gets entangled in Zimmer's criminal web.

Résumé
Anthony Zimmer (2005) is a French thriller directed by Jérôme Salle, set against the backdrop of money laundering operations in Nice and Paris. The film follows François Taillandier, an ordinary man who becomes unwittingly involved in a criminal chase after being mistaken for Anthony Zimmer, a facially-altered money launderer wanted by both international police and Russian mafia.
