Synopsis
An elderly artist, feeling stale and past his prime, takes up his friend's suggestion to visit an offshore island for inspiration. Upon arriving at the tropical paradise, he rediscovers his muse in the form of a young girl living on the island.

Résumé
Age of Consent is a 1969 film directed by Michael Powell, based on a novel of the same name by Norman Lindsay. The story revolves around an elderly artist, Corinth, who travels to an offshore island off Queensland, Australia for artistic inspiration. He meets and becomes inspired by a young girl named Carmichael, leading to a complex relationship between the two.
