Synopsis
A merchant named Jan marries a woman named Anna, who bears an uncanny resemblance to his former lover who died due to him. However, Jan is plagued by morbid jealousy and suspects every man who interacts with Anna. In an attempt to alleviate his suspicions, he pays an attractive man named Dirk to seduce Anna for money. As the affair begins, Jan becomes increasingly consumed by jealousy, leading to catastrophic consequences.

Résumé
Affair Play (1995) is a Dutch drama-thriller directed by Roeland Kerbosch. Set in an unnamed location within the Netherlands, the film explores themes of jealousy, obsession, and guilt through its central character, Jan. The movie revolves around Jan's unhealthy fixation on his wife Anna, whom he marries after losing a woman who looked identical to her.
