Synopsis
In the quiet suburban community of Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley, a professional athlete's murder by two hitmen sets off an unexpected chain reaction involving several residents. The story unfolds over two days and follows various interconnected characters: two hired assassins, a mistress, a nurse, an ex-wife seeking revenge, a wealthy art dealer and his lovelorn assistant, a suicidal writer accompanied by his dog, and a bitter cop with his partner. As their lives intersect due to this murder, they are all put on a collision course towards an explosive climax.
