Synopsis
In late-1980s Romania under Ceausescu's regime, Cristina struggles with her boyfriend who wants to have sex before leaving for military service but refuses to marry her first. Meanwhile, she becomes involved with a womanizing actor who receives mysterious phone calls. The actor has vague plans to defect from the country.

Résumé
È pericoloso sporgersi (1993), directed by Nae Caranfil, is a Romanian comedy-drama set against the backdrop of late-Ceausescu era Romania. The film follows Cristina and her complicated relationships with two men: her boyfriend who refuses to marry her despite their physical intimacy, and a womanizing actor she becomes involved with. The latter's mysterious phone calls add an element of intrigue, possibly related to his desire to defect.
