Synopsis
Amaryllis Campos, a young dancer living in Puerto Rico with her parents and drug-selling boyfriend, experiences tragedy and betrayal within her family. With help from an unlikely friend, she moves to New York City where she lucks into an apartment and befriends an elderly neighbor. Amaryllis struggles financially and takes a job at a strip club called Club Labrador while also attending casting calls during the day in pursuit of dancing opportunities. As she navigates her new life, romance unexpectedly presents itself, forcing Amaryllis to choose between this promise and the lingering dream of pursuing her dance career.
