Synopsis
In Paris, Jeanne (Maria Schneider), a young woman engaged to film director Tom, meets Paul (Marlon Brando), an American expat mourning his wife's recent suicide. They are drawn to each other and begin a passionate affair without revealing their names. Throughout their relationship, they explore intense sexual encounters, with Paul introducing Jeanne to new experiences like anal sex using butter as lubricant.
