Synopsis
Scalene follows a complex narrative from three perspectives, centering around a traumatic event and its aftermath. The story begins with Jakob, a mentally handicapped young man, being cared for by his mother at home. When the family hires a female college student as Jakob's caretaker, tension ensues between the two women over what is best for Jakob. Tragically, Jakob rapes the student, leading to his arrest. After Jakob's incarceration, his mother becomes determined to take revenge on behalf of her son, driven by her unyielding love and protectiveness.
