Synopsis
Run the World (series) follows the lives of four black women living in Brooklyn and navigating the challenges of adulthood. The series focuses on the main characters: Whitney, a charismatic beauty salon owner; Sanaa, her level-headed cousin who runs a tech start-up; Renee, a lesbian public health worker grappling with commitment issues; and Ella, the youngest member of the group who's dealing with the complexities of dating in the modern world. Throughout the series, these friends support each other through career challenges, romantic entanglements, and personal growth.
