Synopsis
Frieder and his wife Nina are renovating their house but seem disconnected in their relationship. One day, Nina leaves home abruptly, driving to an isolated cabin where her brother Christoph lives, then cycling to a nearby sports hotel. She wanders aimlessly around the hotel before having a brief encounter with an old tennis pro. Frieder and their daughter Charlotte eventually find Nina at the hotel, but she chooses not to return home with them. Meanwhile, Frieder rejects new windows delivered for their house and begins an affair with Maria, Charlotte's nursery school teacher. Later, Nina returns home without the replacement windows.
