Synopsis
Set during World War II in Sicily, Malèna follows Renato, a 12-year-old boy who becomes captivated by Malèna, a woman whose husband has gone missing, presumed dead. On the same day that Italy enters the war and he receives his first bicycle, Renato witnesses Malèna's arrival in town.
