Synopsis
The film 'Les chemins de Katmandou' (1969), directed by André Cayatte, is an adaptation of a novel of the same name by Pierre Schoendoerffer. The plot follows the journey of three French friends who travel to Nepal after leaving their lives behind in France following the May 1968 protests. One of them, Paul, becomes involved with a young woman named Mala, who is a member of a cult led by an enigmatic figure known as 'The Master'.
