Synopsis
Jonathan and Anaïs Hopkins have been married for only a few months, but their relationship is already strained. Anaïs is distant and uninterested in Jonathan, often visiting her sister instead of being with him. When Jonathan learns that his estranged father has left him a fortune contingent on a divorce, he sees this as an opportunity to escape his unhappy marriage. However, things take a dramatic turn when Anaïs is involved in a serious car accident. Upon arriving at the hospital, Jonathan finds another woman claiming to be Anaïs, but she is paralyzed and unable to speak. This woman has all of Anaïs' identification in her handbag, leading Jonathan to question who this stranger truly is and where his wife has disappeared to.
