Synopsis
Alejandra, a young mother in Mexico, leads an unhappy life with her husband Ángel in their small city. She works at her in-laws' candy factory and has two children. Her brother Fabián, who is also Ángel's lover, brings home his new girlfriend Veronica. Veronica tells them about a mysterious power in the nearby forest that can solve all their problems. Intrigued, they venture into the woods to find this enigmatic force.
