Synopsis
Dolores arrives in Madrid from Cuba to meet her boyfriend Lázaro Dolores who has been living there for a year. However, upon arrival, she learns that he has been imprisoned for kidnapping and attempted rape. Left stranded, Dolores must fend for herself. Lázaro pressures her into smuggling heroin into his prison, but she eventually stops visiting him due to his drug addiction and deteriorating condition. Dolores adapts to Madrid's lifestyle, supported by her 'vitality and Caribbean sensuality', until she meets Paco, a Spaniard who offers her stability and teaches her a trade.
